The Parts Inventory header fields contain general information to identify each part. The header appears at the top of the module window and remains visible as users navigate through the module's tabs.

Part ID * |
The user-defined identifier for the part. |
Warehouse ID * |
The default Warehouse at which the part will be stored. Click on the field name or press F9 within the field for a list of warehouses. |
Location ID * |
The default Location where the part will be stored at the Warehouse. Click on the field name or press F9 within the field for a list of locations. |
Note: The Location ID is used when the Always Use Default Location option in Work Options is turned on, and parts are dispersed from Work Orders or the Mobile program.
