TV Inspection Header Data

The TV Inspection header fields contain general information used to identify each TV inspection. The header appears at the top of the module window and remains visible as users navigate through the module's tabs.

Field Name

Definition

US Structure

DS Structure

Alt Pipe ID **

These fields are used to identify the pipe from the Pipe Inventory that the inspection record is associated with.

Pipes are identified by their Alt Pipe ID and are generally tied to an upstream and downstream (US and DS) structure. Selecting a US Structure or an Alt Pipe ID will automatically complete the other two fields. Click on a caption button or click in one of those fields and press F9 for a pop-up list of pipes to select.

Note: Once a pipe has been selected, identifying information and pipe attributes are carried over from the related Inventory record to the appropriate fields in this TV Inspection record.

Pipe Rec #

The system-generated unique ID for the selected pipe.

TV Rec #

The system-generated unique ID for the TV inspection.

Flow Basin

The flow basin that the inspection falls within. This field is populated automatically if the pipe has a flow basin associated with it in the Pipe Inventory.

Most Recent Inspect

Indicates whether the selected TV Inspection record represents the most recent TV inspection for this pipe segment. The system uses the Date Televised to make this determination. Inspections for different TV Directions are handled separately. This means that there is a 'Most Recent Inspection' for Downstream to Upstream and another for Upstream to Downstream inspections.

* Required field.
