Permits/Construction Tab

The Permits/Construction tab contains grids that link the lateral to Permit and Construction records.

Permits Grid

This grid displays all service permits for the lateral. Records in this grid come from the Sewer > Inventory > Service Permits module.

A sample of the data grid appears below. Sort records in the grid by clicking on the headings.  An up or down arrow (highlighted in orange below) indicates whether data appear in ascending or descending order.

• Double-click on an existing record to open it.
• Right-click in the grid to add a record.
• Right-click on an existing record for options to View Record, Add Record, Edit Record, or Delete Record.

Construction Grid

The Construction tab also contains a grid that displays all construction records associated with a particular lateral. The sewer lateral's Present Value and Remaining Life are displayed above the grid. These values are defined by the deterioration rates set up in the Construction record and are updated automatically by the system.

A sample of the grid headers appears below. Sort records in the grid by clicking on the headings.  An up or down arrow (highlighted in orange below) indicates whether data appear in ascending or descending order.

To access the Construction records, select Sewer > Construction Records.
