PM/Template **
|
Indicates the user-defined, unique ID and name for the PM/template.

Category **
|
Specifies the type or class of PM/template desired. When a user selects a category, the system then displays only the applicable Main Tasks and problems. Click the field caption or press F9 within the field for a list of categories from Work Flow Setup > Categories.
Note: This field should not be manually set to Required as this may cause the program to error when a work order is created from the PM.

Main Task *
|
Indicates the main work task that will be accomplished on work orders created from this PM/template. Click the field caption or press F9 for a list of Work Flow Setup > Work Tasks.

Problem *
|
Specifies the problem that should be addresses by completing the work order created by this PM/template. Click the field caption or press F9 for a list of Work Flow Setup > Problems.

WO Template
|
Marks the record as a Work Order Template.
- A work order template is a set of pre-configured work order data that can simplify the process of creating a new Work Order.
- These templates show up as selectable templates when using the Create WO tool.

Scheduled PM
|
Marks the record as a Scheduled PM.
- A Scheduled PM is a set of pre-configured work order data that is configured to automatically create a new Work Order on a regular schedule.
- Each scheduled pm creates a single work order with one or more assets attached to it.
- Once the Scheduled PM box is marked and saved, the action cannot be undone.
- The Scheduled PM box must be marked before the Grouped PM, Linked PM, or Grouped Asset boxes can be marked.

Grouped PM
|
Converts the Scheduled PM record to a Grouped PM.
- A grouped PM is a single PM in which the user may designate a different schedule for each asset on the PM.
- Each grouped pm can track and generate multiple work orders. Each work order generated by this PM relates to an individual asset.
- The Scheduled PM field must be marked before the Grouped PM can be marked.

PM Template
|
Marks the record as a PM Template
- A PM Template is a set of pre-configured work order data that can simplify the process of creating a new PM or Template.
- These templates show up as selectable templates when using the Create PM/Template tool.

Out-of-Service
|
Mark if the record is out of service.

Grouped Assets
|
Converts a Grouped PM to a Grouped Assets PM.
- A grouped asset PM is a grouped PM in which the user may group together the assets and designate a different schedule for each asset group on the PM.
- Each grouped pm can track and generate multiple work orders. Each work order generated by this PM relates to a group of assets.
- The Scheduled PM, and Grouped PM fields must be marked before the Grouped PM can be marked.

Inactive
|
Indicates a template that is not in use. Inactive templates do not appear in the list of templates available in the Create Work Order tool.

Tightly Linked PM
|
Converts the Scheduled PM to a Tightly Linked PM.
- Tightly Linked PMs do not have a schedule. Instead, they are linked to a Scheduled PM and directed to replace the regularly scheduled PM at a certain interval. For example, the Scheduled PM might generate a work order every month; however, every third month it is replaced with the Tightly Linked PM.
- Tightly Linked PMs must have the same assets as the related Schedule PM.

Affected PM
|
Converts the Scheduled PM to an Affected PM.
- Affected PMs do not have a schedule. Instead, they are linked to a Scheduled PM and directed to replace the regularly scheduled PM at a certain interval. For example, the Scheduled PM might generate a work order every month; however, every third month it is replaced with the Affected PM.
- Affected PMs do not need to have the same assets as the related Schedule PM.
