Create PM/Template

The Create PM/Template tool enables users to create a Preventative Maintenance (PM) or template from an asset. This tool appears in most of the Asset modules within Lucity.

How To Create a PM/Template

  1. Find the asset you wish to create the PM or template for.
  2. If the PM/Template is for a group of records in a module, create a filter for that group of records.
  3. Click the Create PM/Template button . The following pop-up appears:

  4. Select whether you want to create the PM for the current record or the entire filter set.
  5. If desired select an existing PM to base the new PM off of.
  6. Click OK, the following pop-up appears to show progress:

  7. The PM/Template module opens and displays the new record.
