* These functions enable administrators to fix problems they find in their part counts.

Identify a Part that needs an adjustment in the Qty On Hand field. This can be accomplished by running the Parts with Inaccurate Part Counts report.
Browse to the Part in the Parts Inventory module.
Click the button in the module toolbar. The following window appears:
Highlight Manual Parts OnHand Count Adjustment and click .
The following warning appears:
To continue, click Yes. The following pop-up appears:
Enter a new count in the Qty On Hand field.
Click OK. A new record appears in the Transaction grid to record the correction.

Identify a Part that requires an adjustment to its Transaction Count. This can be accomplished by running the Parts with Inaccurate Part Counts report.
Locate the Part in the Parts Inventory module.
Click the button in the module toolbar. The following window appears:
Highlight Manual Transaction Count Adjustment and click .
The following warning appears:
To continue, click Yes. The following pop-up appears:
Enter the New Count.
Click OK. A new record will appear in the Transactions grid to make the needed correction.

Create a filter to identify the records you wish to update.
Click the button in the module toolbar. The following window appears:
Highlight Update Average Cost for Current Part and click
The following window appears. It displays two average costs for the part.
- The Current Average Cost is the: (Sum of the cost of every individual part of this type ever bought)/(The number of this type of part ever bought)
- The Avg Cost without Historical Data: (Sum of the cost of every individual part of this type on hand)/(The number of this type of part on hand)
Enter the New Average Cost.
Enter a Reference Number to track the change.
Click OK. The Average Cost is updated on the Order Info Tab (if it is displayed there) and on all of the Part History records.

Manual Parts OnHand Count Adjustment *	Enables users to manually adjust the Qty On Hand field for an individual part.
Manual Transaction Count Adjustment *	Enables users to manually add a Transaction record to adjust the transaction quantities.
Update Average Cost for Current Part	Updates the Average Cost field for the current part.
