Condition Ratings Tab

The Condition Ratings tab displays the Structural and O&M ratings for the inspected pipe. These fields are populated automatically by the system based on the data input from the Observations records.

Quick Rating Structural

Summarizes the structural results of the inspection, using fields from the Observation records.

Quick Rating O&M

Summarizes the O&M results of the inspection, using fields from the Observation records.

Quick Rating Total

Summarizes the overall results of the inspection, using fields from the Observation records.

Pipe Ratings Structural

Provides an overall Structural Rating for the entire pipe. This value is a sum of all Structural Grade fields from all observations.

Pipe Ratings O&M

Provides an overall Structural Rating for the entire pipe. This value is the sum of all the O&M Grade fields from all the observations.

Pipe Ratings Total

Calculates a rating for the entire pipe. This value is a sum of the Pipe Ratings Structural and Pipe Ratings O&M fields.

Rating Index Structural

Indicates the average rating per structural defect.

Rating Index O&M

Indicates the average rating per O&M defect.

Rating Index Total

Indicates the overall average rating per defect.

Survey Length

Identifies the how far along the lateral the survey went.

Actual Length

Identifies the actual length of the service lateral.

Rehab Method

Indicates the suggested rehab method.

At the bottom of this tab is a grid that displays all the Observation records for the inspection.

A sample of the grid appears below. Sort records in the grid by clicking on the headings. An up or down arrow (highlighted in orange below) indicates whether data appear in ascending or descending order.

Right-click in the grid to add a record.

Right-click on an existing record for options to View Record, Add Record, Edit Record, or Delete Record.

Double-click on an existing record to open it.

Right-click in the grid and select Add Record. The following dialog appears:
Record the Distance to the feature location (required). This distance can be measured in feet or meters.
In the Defect field, select the defect's code/description (required). Click the caption button or click in the field and press F9 for a list of defects.
Note: These codes comply with the NAASCO PACP standards and are used to calculate the read-only Structural and O&M fields in this record.
Complete other fields as needed.
Save and close the record.
