Recommendations/Work Tab

The Recommendations/Work tab is completed after the inspection has been submitted and reviewed. It consists of three parts:

Review Fields

Three fields at the top of the tab track identify 1) who reviewed the inspection, 2) when they reviewed it, and #) how much of the inspection/video they reviewed.

Recommendation Comment

Below the Review fields is a large comment box. This allows users to quickly enter a general comment or information that might be needed during the recommendation process. To edit this box, put the record in edit mode, click in the box, and type a comment. To go to the next line in the box, hold the Ctrl key and press Enter.

Recommendations Grid

Finally, at the bottom of the tab is a grid in which the user may recommend the type of work that should be done, its priority, and the person or entity who should perform the work. A final field indicates whether or not the work has been completed.

A sample of the grid appears below. Sort records in the grid by clicking on the headings.  An up or down arrow (highlighted in orange below) indicates whether data appear in ascending or descending order.

How To Add a Recommendation

  1. Right-click in the grid and select Add Record. The following window will appear:

    Recommendation

  2. Complete the desired fields (none are specifically required).
  3. Save and close the record.

The recommendations appear in the grid in the order they were entered.
