TV Insp Work Tasks per Defect Tab

The TV Insp Work Task per Defect tab stores additional selection criteria for the record. This data helps to determine which rehabilitation or replacement methods are used when certain defects are observed in a TV Inspection record. The model selects a method based on the defect's Structural Rating or O&M Rating.

A sample of the TV Insp Work Task per Defect grid appears below. Sort records in the grid by clicking on the headings.  An up or down arrow (highlighted in orange below) indicates whether data appear in ascending or descending order.

• Double-click on an existing record to open it.
• Right-click in the grid to add a record.
• Right-click on an existing record for options to View Record, Add Record, Edit Record, or Delete Record.

How To Add a TV Insp Task per Defect Record

1. Right-click in the grid and select Add Record. The following window appears:

   

2. Select a Defect (required). Click on the caption button or press F9 for a list of defects from the the Inspection Setup module.
3. For each defect, choose up to two Structural Work Tasks and up to two O&M Work Tasks and set the minimum ratings that will trigger these tasks.
   • These rehabilitation and replacement work tasks are those that the model will use when the identified defect is observed in a selected pipe. When the model runs, the system analyzes the pipe observation information to determine if the criteria established in this module are met. If they are, the model selects the Structural or O&M Tasks based on the ratings defined here.
4. Enter the minimum defect rating required to select a specific rehab task.
   • Struct Rating 1 - The minimum structural observation rating required to select Struct Task 1.
   • Struct Rating 2 - The minimum structural observation rating required to select Struct Task 2.
   • O&M Rating 1 - The minimum O&M observation rating required to select O&M Task 1.
   • O&M Rating 2 - The minimum O&M observation rating required to select O&M Task 2.
5. Next to each Rating field is a Task field. Select the task that should be performed when the defect rating is greater than the minimum. Click on a field caption or press F9 for a pick list of tasks from the Rehab Work Tasks and Costs module.
   • Struct Task 1 - This Structural Replacement Task is selected if the minimum Struct Rating 1 is met.
   • Struct Task 2 - This Structural Rehabilitation Task is selected if the minimum Struct Rating 2 is met.
   • O&M Task 1 - This O&M Replacement Task is selected if the minimum O&M Rating 1 is met.
   • O&M Task 2 - This O&M Rehabilitation Task is selected if the minimum O&M Rating 2 is met.
6. Save and close the record.
