Signals Tab

Here, you can track additional information on the controller such as PO Date, Request Date, Receive Date, and Installation date.  There are also fields to record the overall cost of the controller and additional finance information.  This tab tracks owner and maintenance information, as well as further identification information such as a Project Number and Drawing Number.

In addition to information about the controller information, this tab tracks signals under its control and associated items of auxiliary equipment.  There are two grids containing all signals and equipment associated with this controller.  These lists includes ID numbers and descriptive text.  A sample of the grids appears below.  You can sort the records by clicking on the headings.  An up or down arrow (circled in red below) will appear signifying ascending or descending order.

There are three ways to access the signal and equipment records:

  1. Double click on any record.  This will open the record directly.
  2. Right-click on any record to open a drop down menu.  The menu allows you to view, add, edit, or delete the record.
  3. Access the signal records from the main menu bar by selecting Transportation > Signal > Signal Heads > Signal Inventory. Access the equipment records from the main menu bar by selecting Transportation > Components > Auxiliary Equipment > Auxiliary Equipment Inventory.

Once you access the record the Signal Head Inventory module or Auxiliary Equipment Inventory will open.
