This tab allows you to track general information about the fiber optic cable in this record. Here, you can include its location, material, owner, fiber trunk, fiber pairs, diameter, and installation date. The Sub Type Text field is automatically filled if Sub Types are defined in the GIS system.
Note: You can only edit this field in the GIS geodatabase environment. If your system is not integrated with GIS, this field will not be available.
Additionally, a text field is provided at the bottom of the screen. You can use this field to enter comments in paragraph form. While in Add or Edit mode, place your cursor in the grid and begin typing. This field has copy/paste abilities, carriage returns <Ctrl + Enter>, and a spell checker that when turned on will underline misspelled words as you type.
