This tab records specific information on the housing and lamp used in a particular street light.  The data in these fields is stored in code-description and text format, as appropriate for the information.  By using these fields, you can create a unique description of a particular street light and its components. The fields in this tab are defined below.

Note: When the Library Code is selected in the Street Light Inventory module, this data will be carried over to the corresponding record.

Field Name

Definition

Housing Type

The type of housing used for the street light (i.e. Bollard, Flood, Spot).

Style

The style of light found in this record (i.e. acorn, lantern, tear-drop).

Housing Manuf

The manufacturer that produced the housing.

Housing Make

The manufacturer's make for the housing.

Housing Model No

The manufacturer's model number.

Housing Finish

The type of surface finish used on the light housing (i.e. anodized aluminum, textured powder finish).

Housing Size

The size of the housing used.

Housing Options

Any additional housing options found on this street light (i.e. acrylic sag lens, colored reveal, fusing).

Mounting

The type of mounting used for this street light (i.e. single arm, extended wall, mast arm fitter).

Lamp Type

The type of lamp used in this street light (i.e. high pressured, incandescent, mercury).

Lamp Manuf

The name of the company that manufactures this lamp.

Lamp Make

The manufacturer's make for the lamp.

Lamp Model

The manufacturer's model number.

Lamp Size

The size of the lamp used.

Watts

The electric power required to operate this lamp.

Footcandles

The units of illumination produced by this lamp, measured in footcandles.

Volts

The electrical energy required by the street light.
