Physical Count Details

Once the record has been saved this grid will be enabled.  To add a physical count detail, complete the steps below:

1. Highlight a segment in the Traffic Volume Intersection Leg Counts grid. 

   Note:  The physical count detail you enter will be associated with the highlighted segment.  The display in the Physical Count Details grid will change depending on which segment is highlighted.

2. Right-click in the Physical Count Details grid and select Add Record.  The following window will appear:

   

3. Enter the count date. 

   Note:  This is a required field.

4. Enter the count time.
5. Enter the number of pedestrians.
6. Enter the number of cars and trucks entering from the left, right, and thru the intersection in the fields provided.
7. The Total Left, Total Thru, and Total Right Entering fields will be calculated by the system.  These fields will reflect the sum of the cars and trucks entering from each of those directions.
8. The percent entering fields will be calculated by the system.  These values will reflect the percentage of vehicles entering from the left, right, or thru the intersection.
9. Click to save your changes.
10. Click to cancel your changes.
11. Click to close the window.

    Note: To view, edit, or delete a Physical Count Detail record, highlight a record and then Right-click to select View Record, Edit Record, or Delete Record.
