Swap Meter Device Option

The Swap Meter Device Option allows you to swap out the current meter with a different meter device.

To swap a meter device, complete the following steps:

1. Select the meter location in the Assets grid.
2. Right-click and select Meter Device > Swap Meter Device. The following window will appear:

   

3. Enter the current meter reading for the old meter. Only one reading is required.
4. Select a new meter from the pick list. This is a required field.
5. Enter a reading for the new meter. This is a required field.
6. Enter a completion date. This is a required field.
7. Click to save the record.
