The header fields in the Road Segment Pavement Inspections module contain general information used to identify and describe each inspection. The header appears at the top of the module window and remains visible as users navigate through the module's tabs.

Alt Seg ID * |
The user-defined ID of the road that the inspection is for. This links the Inspection record to a Road Segment record. Click on the field caption or click in the field and press F9 for a list of road segments. |
Beg Ref Post End Ref Post |
The reference posts marking the beginning and the end of the road segment being inspected. Reference posts, also known as mile markers, measure the distance of a point from the beginning of a road in miles. These posts typically do not move when a portion of the road is contracted or expanded. The system automatically completes these fields from the related fields in the Road Segments module. |
Most Recent Inspection |
Indicates whether the current record represents the most recent pavement inspection of this particular subsegment. The system uses the Inventory Date to make this determination. |
Inventory Date * |
The date the inspection took place. |
Inspection Crew |
The name of the crew that performed the inspection. |
