General Tab

This tab is designed to record general information about the pavement maintenance task performed. It stores the maintenance program used, the maintenance type, who performed the maintenance, the material used, thickness, and cost. In addition, a large text field is provided to describe the maintenance task. Several fields in this tab have special functions. These are described below:

Field Name	Description
Superseg Rec #	When a Subsegment Code is selected in the Header, the associated Supersegment Record Number will be identified in this field, if one exists.
Pavement Type	The data in this field is carried over from the associated Subsegment record. It can be edited if needed.
Surface Type	This field allows you to indicate the surface type of the subsegment in this record (i.e. Chip Seal, Slurry Seal, Crack Fill, etc.). If this Pavement Maintenance record is the most recent, then the linked Subsegment record's surface type will be updated with the data in this field.
Override PCI	If you select a Rehab Technique in the Header, the data in this field will default to the Reset PCI value from the Rehabilitation Techniques setup module. You can edit the value in this field if needed.
Set Override PCI Values	These checkboxes allow you to indicate how you would like the Override PCI value to be applied: Mark the Reset Field Insp PCI box if you would like the value in the Override PCI field to update the Field Inspection module. Mark the Reset Superseg PCI box if you would like the value in the Override PCI field to update the associated Supersegments module. If the Maintenance Date in the Header is more recent than the date of the last Field Inspection record or Supersegment Override PCI date, the Override PCI value in this module will be used.
