The PM/Template tool allows users to generate PM/Template records. Users can choose to create a PM/Template based on the filterset or on the records selected in the grid.
How To Create a PM/Template
Create a filter for the records that need a PM OR select all the records in the grid that need a PM.
Click the button. The following pop-up appears:
Under Create PM(s) for..., choose whether to create the PM for the Selected Record(s)OR for the FIltered Records.
Select a Category. (Click the Category button to view the category tree.)
Select a Main Task.
Click OK. The system opens the default PM/Template view. If a default view does not exist, the system creates the PM/Template in the database, but it does not appear on screen. Instead, a notation appears above the grid to indicate that the operation succeeded.
