To use the Attach/Detach record tools, users must have associated permissions in the Lucity Security program.
Relationship Type #1: Parent/Child (Example: Work Order/Task)
To add a parent (Work Order), users need the Add permission on parent (Work Order).
To delete a parent (Work Order), users need the Delete permission on parent (Work Order).
To edit a parent (Work Order), users need the Edit permission on parent (Work Order).
To add a child (Task), users need the Edit permission on parent (Work Order).*
To delete a child (Task), users need the Edit permission on parent (Work Order).*
To edit a child (Task), users need the Edit permission on parent (Work Order).*

Relationship Type #2: Parent/Child, Child CanHaveView (Example: Fleet/Fueling)
To add a parent (Fleet), users need the Add permission on parent (Fleet).
To delete a parent (Fleet), users need the Delete permission on parent (Fleet).
To edit a parent (Fleet), users need the Edit permission on parent (Fleet).
To add a child (Fueling), users need the Add permission on the child (Fueling).
To delete a child (Fueling), users need the Delete permission on the child (Fueling).
To edit a child (Fueling), users need the Edit permission on the child (Fueling).
Relationship Type #3: Attach New (Example: Park/Parking Lot)
To add a parent (Park), users need the Add permission on parent (Park).
To delete a parent (Park), users need the Delete permission on parent (Park).
To edit a parent (Park), users need the Edit permission on parent (Park).
To add and attach a child (Parking Lot), users need the Add permission on child (Parking Lot) and the Attach/Detach permission on the child (Parking Lot).*
