Administration permissions control various administration tasks.

Allows user to delete/manipulate activation records in the System > Activation Manager section of the Administration Tool.

Allows user to access the System > Activation Manager section of the Administration Tool.

Data Quality

Admin Tool

Allows user to log into the Lucity Administration Tool and access:

  • System Settings - Any settings that have to do with how the system operates behind the scenes. This includes URLs and file paths.
  • Clear All Site Caches
  • Manage Website Caches
  • Manage Public Website Caches
  • Manage Mobile Server Caches
  • Object Lock Manager
  • User License Manager
  • Background Tasks
  • Active User Manager
  • View Email Request Log
  • Client Maintenance

Security

Allows user to login to the Lucity Security program. However, they can only modify users that have the Lucity IT Admin > Run permission.

Run *

Allows user to log into the Lucity Security program and modify users, groups, and permissions.

However, they cannot assign the Lucity IT Admin > Run permission, or modify any users that have that permission.

* When a user is granted, revoked, or denied these permissions it is logged in the rolling.log and the Windows Event Viewer. A notification is also sent to the email addresses specified in the Administration Tool > System > Settings > Email tab > List of email addresses for system health notifications setting.
