Split Process within Lucity Desktop
The following is an overview of the process that occurs within Lucity Desktop when a Street Segment is split:
- Renumber the existing street if the pre-split Segment’s ID is not being reused for either of the Streets.
- Creates an Intersection Inventory record (if applicable).
- Creates a new Street Segment Inventory record.
- Populates the new Street Segment attributes.
- Splits subsegments.
- Updates Subsegment Numbers for the existing Street Segment.
- Updates Subsegment Numbers for the new Street Segment.
- Associates Documents with the new Street Segment.
- Updates the Street Curve (STCURVE).
- Updates Construction records (if the option was checked).
- Updates Work Orders (if the option was checked).
- Copies Asset/Task associations to the merged Street Segments.
- Associates Previous Asset Costs (AS_WOCOST and AS_UNASGNCOST) with only one of the Street Segments.
- Updates PM/Work Template records (if the option was checked).
- Updates Master Project records (if the option was checked).
- Updates Routes.
- Updates Structures.
- Updates Street Name fields for the existing Street Segment.
- Updates Street Name fields for the new Street Segment.
