Attributes Tab

The Attributes tab allows you to document the pump's location, model and serial numbers, size, and other physical characteristics of the pump. Several fields in this tab allow you to store data unique to pumps. These fields are described in the table below. All fields under this attribute tab are optional.

Field Name

Definition

Location

The Location field is automatically populated from the Pump Station Inventory module. It contains the slot location in the pump station.

Classification

The classification of the pump (i.e. dry well, wet well, above grade).

Capacity

The capacity of the pump measured in gallons per minute.

TDH (ft)

Total dynamic head of the pump (the sum of the piezometric head and the velocity head).

Impeller Dia (in)

The size, in inches, of the impeller that is installed in the pump.

Number of Stages

The number of stages is usually equal to the number of impellers installed in a pump.

SS End Type

The type of suction end being observed.

SS End Dia (in)

The diameter of the suction end in inches.

SS CL Elev (ft)

Suction side centerline elevation in feet.

DS End Type

The type of discharge end observed.

DS End Dia (in)

The diameter of the discharge end in inches.

DS CL Elev (ft)

Downstream centerline elevation in feet.

Cleaning Fields

Last Cleaning Date

Users enter the date that the asset was last cleaned. This is used to calculate the Next Cleaning Date.

Cleaning Freq

Enter a number for how often the asset should be cleaned. The amount of time this number represents is controlled by the Cleaning Freq Units.

Cleaning Freq Units

The amount of time represented by the number in the Cleaning Frequency. (ie: Weeks, Months, etc...) Click the field caption button or press F9 for the pick-list.

Next Cleaning Date

Users can enter the next date that the asset should be cleaned. If the Last Cleaning Date, Cleaning Freq, and Cleaning Freq Units fields are filled out, this will auto-calculate.
