The Location fields document the location nearest to the point where the smoke was observed, the results of the observation (i.e., positive, negative, suspect), and the source or defect where the smoke was observed (e.g., service lateral, transition joint, driveway drain). They also indicate whether the source was public or private (using the Status field).
