TV Observation Tab

The TV Observations tab stores a list of observations for various sections of the pipe.

A sample of the grid appears below. Sort records in the grid by clicking on the headings. An up or down arrow (highlighted in orange below) indicates whether data appear in ascending or descending order.

Right-click in the grid and select Add Record. The following window will appear:
In the Distance field, enter the distance from the starting point of the pipe to the observation. This is a required field.
Fill out other fields as desired.
Save and Close the record.

Right-click on an observation in the grid and select Create Work Order. The following pop-up will appear:
Select a category and click OK.
The Work Order module will open and display the new work order.
Edit the work order as desired.
Save the changes.

Special Functionality

When a work order is created from the Observation tab, a few special functions occur in the Work Order > Asset tab > Asset record:

In the header data, the Inspection Source Module field is completed with data from the TV Observation Record.
On the Attributes tab, some of the User fields are automatically completed with some basic information from the observation record.
On the TV Observation Data tab, some information is copied over from the actual Observation record.
