Adding a Record

To add a record, complete the following steps:

  1. Right-click in the grid and select Add Record.  The following window will appear

  2. Select the Routine Code.  To view the pick list, Click F9 or the field caption to reveal the list of available PMs. 

    Note: Only PMs that share the same category and assets as the current PM will be available.

  3. Enter the number between PMs that this PM will be generated.  (For further explanation, see the Tightly Linked PM Scheduling topic. An additional example is also provided.)
  4. The Number Remaining refers to the number of times the associated PM will be generated before this PM is generated as well. (For further explanation, see the Tightly Linked PM Scheduling topic. An additional example is also provided.)

    Note: The # Remaining field will automatically change (count down) each time the Work Order that generated the associated PM is closed. When this number reaches 0, it signifies that this PM will be generated.

  5. Click to save the record.
  6. Click to escape Add Mode.
  7. Click to close the window.
