Check for Warranties

This feature is only available for fleet or equipment assets.  It allows you to select assets and check for open warranties listed in the asset record.

To check for warranties, complete the following steps:

1. Select the asset(s) in the grid.
2. Right-click and select Check for Warranties.  If the following conditions are met, the Open Warranty Notice will appear:
   • The asset has at least one active record in the Warranty table of the Fleet or Equipment record, and
   • The current system date is less than or equal to the warranty expiration date.

   

3. The window above displays any open warranties for the selected asset(s), plus additional warranty information.
