Address Tab

The Address tab stores supplemental location data, including a second mailing address and information about the owner.

Field Name

Use/Purpose

Address 2

 

Records a second building number and street name for the record, which can be useful when using a general location rather than an exact address.

City, State, Country, Zip

Used to establish a complete mailing address for each record.

Owner fields

Identify the owner of the location. These fields are found at the bottom of the Address Tab.

The Address, Property ID tag, and Owner Contact information are used to auto-populate fields in the following locations:

Standard Address Formats

To ensure accuracy, and make sure that data are entered consistently throughout the program, the Address module requires that users enter addresses in specific formats. Supported address formats are listed in the table below.  To enter an address in a format other than those listed, turn on the Allow Text in Building Fields? option in the General Options module.
