Material Requisition

When adding Materials or Fluids to a Work Order, a user may discover that the current supply of the material/fluid in the warehouse is not enough to complete the task. Users can create a Material Requisition directly from the work order to request that the material/fluid be restocked.

The following tools appear when users right-click on a Material/Fluid record in the Work Order's Resources grid.

Note: Each Material/Fluid record on a single work order can only be linked to one Requisition record.

Right-click on a Material/Fluid record in the grid and select Create a Requisition.
The Material Requisition module opens and displays a new record. The Work Order # field automatically displays the Work Order's number.
Select the Entered Date (required).
Save the Requisition record.
Go to the Details tab and add a Detail record for the desired material(s)/fluid(s).
Save and close the Detail record.
Close the Requisition record.

Right-click on a Material/Fluid record in the grid and select Attach to an Existing Requisition. The following pop-up appears:
Choose a Requisition record and click Select.
The Part associated with the selected Material/Fluid is added to the Requisition record's Details tab.

Right-click on a Material/Fluid record in the grid and select Go to Requisition.
The Material Requisition module opens the related record.
