General Tab

The General tab enables users to track and record inspection data in compliance with MACP (Manhole Assessment Certification Program) standards. In addition to general information, such as the name of the person conducting the survey, the owner of the collection system being surveyed, and the entity commissioning the survey, several fields in this tab have unique functions. These fields are described in the table below.

Certificate Number

NASSCO PACP number of the surveyor.

Sheet Number

Number used to identify individual surveys done within a group.

Rim to Invert

Distance (in feet and tenths of a foot) or (meters to two decimal places) from rim to invert of upstream structure.

Grade to Invert

Distance (in feet and tenths of a foot) or (meters to two decimal places) from the average grade to the invert at the downstream structure.

Rim to Grade

Distance (in feet and tenths of a foot) or (meters to two decimal places) from the rim to the average grade of the invert at the downstream structure.

Media Label

Unique identifier for tape/media.

Pre-Cleaning

Type of preparatory cleaning conducted prior to survey.

Weather

Weather conditions when survey was conducted.

Location

General description of ground cover of surveyed segment.

Potential for Runoff

Type of restriction of flow used.

Northing

Y Coordinate - Latitude at the center point of manhole cover. If value exists, Easting and Coordinate System fields should also be completed.

Easting

X Coordinate - Longitude at the center point of manhole cover. If value exists, Northing and Coordinate System fields should also be completed.

Elevation

Z Coordinate - Height at the center point of the manhole cover.

Coordinate System

Datum or reference system used for the GPS coordinates. If value exists, Northing and Easting fields should also be completed.

GPS Accuracy

Describes degree of accuracy obtained from coordinates.
