The Open Warranty Notice is designed to warn users not to work on an asset that is under warranty. The notice helps to avoid unnecessary costs or actions that could void a warranty.
The Open Warranty Notice appears when:
the Work Order Status < 950AND
the work order has at least one Fleet, Equipment, or Facility asset listed in the Assets tab AND
an attached asset has at least one record in the Warranty module AND
the Current System Date <= the warranty's Expiration Date.
