WO/PMs/Requests

The WO/PMs/Requests tab contains three grids that enable users to view and edit work orders, PM/templates, and requests associated with this asset.

Work Related Fields

Default WO Category

Enables users to set up a default category for the asset. Then, when a work order is created, the default category and related asset information are imported into the new work order record. Multiple categories are available in the pick list. To view the categories, press F9 within the field or click on the Default WO Cat button.

Note: The Default WO Cat field appears in all inventory modules; however, its placement may vary. If this field does not appear on the WOs tab, check the other tabs in the module.

No WO/PM/Req

When this checkbox is marked, the Create WO, Create PM and Create Request buttons are disabled, and users cannot create such items for the current asset inventory record. The asset also no longer appears in the selection dialog boxes for the WO/PM/Request modules. This function may be used for assets that are in the system, but have been abandoned or are no longer used.

Maintenance Zone

Allows the user to assign a Work Maintenance Zone to the asset. This can be used to automatically assign a supervisor to a work order.

Alternate Zone

Allows the user to assign a Work Alternate Zone to the asset.
