Toolkit

The Toolkit in the PM/Work Template module provides these functions:

Function	Result
Change Crew for Filterset	Changes the Crew field for all work orders in the filterset.
Change Lead Worker for Filterset	Changes the Lead Worker field for all work orders in the filterset.
Change Supervisor for Filterset	Changes the Supervisor field for all work orders in the filterset.
Reset PM Status to Awaiting WO Generation	Resets the status of the current PM to Awaiting WO Generation. This tool is used when: A PM's status is WO Generated and the Work Order has been canceled. A Work Order was incorrectly generated from a PM. A Work Order was closed but the PM status was not automatically reset. Note: This toolkit function will not run if there are any open work orders currently linked to the PM or there are any Tightly Linked PMs with open work orders. All related open work orders must be closed or disassociated from the PM.
Update PM/Template Checklist	Enables users to select a Task with a Checklist and overwrite the PM's current checklist with the checklist from the task.

How to Run a Toolkit Function

Locate the PM you wish to run the toolkit against or create a filter for the records that should be updated by a filterset tool.
Click the button in the module toolbar. The following window appears:
Highlight one of the toolkit functions and click .
Change Crew for filterset
1. Select a Crew from the pop-up list:
2. Click OK. The system updates the Crew field on all records in the filterset.
Change Lead Worker for filterset
1. Select a Lead Worker from the pop-up list:
2. Click OK. The system updates the Lead Worker field on all records in the filterset.
Change Supervisor for filterset
1. Select a Supervisor from the pop-up list:
2. Click OK. The system updates the Supervisor field on all records in the filterset.
Reset PM Status to Awaiting WO Generation

The system automatically changes the Status of the PM to Awaiting WO Generation.

Update PM/Template Checklist
Select a Task from the pop-up list. Only tasks with Checklist Items appear in the list.
1. Click Select.
2. The system deletes the PM's checklist and loads the selected task's checklist into the PM.
