Lucity Email Generator

This process is designed to take notifications that were generated within the Lucity System and send them out. It runs ever minute, at which time it checks for emails in the cue and sends them out to the specified recipient. Once this process is complete, the timer starts over and it will run again in the specified amount of time.

Notification Configuration

• Notifications are configured in the Notification Setup module.

SQL Server and Oracle Users:

• For agencies that are using port 25 to send emails to the SMTP server the email settings are configured in the Lucity Administration tool under System > Settings > Email tab.
• For agencies that are using another port or need to use credentials to access the SMTP server the email settings are configured using the Lucity Email Setup (Lucity Email Setup, http://help.lucity.com/webhelp/v145/services/#33990.htm).

How To Configure a Client

Non-production environments

• If the email is being sent in a non-production environment, the following message will appear at the beginning of the email:

  ****THIS EMAIL COMES FROM A NON-PRODUCTION SYSTEM. PLEASE IGNORE THIS EMAIL.****
