Split Process within the Desktop Application

The following is an overview of the split process within the desktop:

• Create a new storm structure (if not using an existing structure)
• Create two new storm conduit records in the desktop
• Copy attributes to new conduit records
• Associate documents to new conduit records (if not archiving)
• Update Multiple Conduits grid
• If Associate Inspections option is checked:
  • Update TV inspection and observations
• Update Construction records (if option was checked)
• Update Illicit Discharge records (if options was checked)
• Update new upstream storm conduit elevations
  • Upstream elevation data is populated from the pre-split conduit's upstream elevation data
  • Downstream elevation data is not calculated.
• Update new downstream storm conduit elevations
  • Upstream elevation data is not calculated
  • Downstream elevation data is populated from the pre-split conduit's downstream elevation data
• Update Work Requests (if option was checked)
• Update Work Orders (if option was checked)
  • Asset/Task associations are carried over to the merged conduit
  • Any previous asset costs AS_WOCOST and AS_UNASGNCOST are only associated to one of the conduits
• Update PM/Work Template records (if option was checked)
• Update Master Project records (if option was checked)
• Archive or delete pre-split conduit (based upon archive option)
