Create a Subset from the Map

The Lucity GIS Viewer™ gives users the ability to create a subset of assets in the map.

To create a subset from the map:

  1. Click the Identity Attributes tool .
  2. Using the Identity Attributes tool, select the features in the map you wish to create a subset for.  An Identity Window dialog box will appear.  On the left side of this dialog you will see your selected layers.  On the right, you will see the field and value table.

  3. If you expand the layers you will see the individual assets attached to those layers.  You can view their individual field and value information on the right.

  4. Right click on the layer name containing the assets for which you wish to create a subset.  A menu similar to the one below will appear.

  5. Click "Create Subset". A dialog will appear prompting for a subset name.  Enter a name for the subset and then click "OK".

  6. You will receive verification that the subset was successfully created, along with how many records were added.
