At the top of the module window you will see header data. This data remains at the top of your screen as you use the tabs to navigate through the record. The header fields are described in the table below:

Control Valve ID |
This field contains a number automatically generated by the system. |
Valve Number |
This field allows you to enter a unique, alphanumeric identifier for the valve. |
Operating Status |
This field allows you to indicate the valve's operating status (i.e. open, closed, abandoned in place). |
Building No. (Address) |
These fields allow you to indicate the control valve's location address. The address of the inventory record is made up of a building number and street name. With the street name validation turned on, the street names entered in the record will be restricted to those available in the current Street Name List. |
Note: The Valve Number is required in order to save the record.
