Code/Type Validation

This validation searches for code and type fields that do not have the type field populated. The system tries to retrieve the type associated with the code from the master database. This is performed for every record in the given validation table. Once this process is complete, every record that still has a blank type field is flagged as failing the validation.

Note: If a type is not found for a code, the system will change the code to 999 as a way of flagging the record.

Sewer Structure(s) Exist

This validation takes the sewer structure fields for the given validation table and verifies them against the master structure inventory table. If either the upstream structure or the downstream structure does not exist, then the flag is set. There can be a maximum of two structure fields for a given table.

Pipe Exist

This validation takes the upstream and downstream structure fields for the given validation table and determines if the pipe in the validation table already exists in the master database for inspection modules.
