Install Meter Device Option

This option allows you to install a meter device at a meter location listed in the Assets grid.

Note: If the meter location currently has a meter device installed, this option will be grayed out (i.e. only one meter device can be installed per location).

To install a meter device, complete the following steps:

1. Select the meter location in the Assets grid.
2. Right-click and select Meter Device > Install Meter Device. The following window will appear:

   

3. Select the new meter from the pick list. This is a required field.
4. Enter the current reading. This is a required field.
5. Enter a completion date. This is a required field.
6. Click to save the record.
