Notifications Settings

The Notification feature is a workstation based setting that allows you to setup the Lucity Messenger program along with email notifications.

From this window you can do the following:

• Change your port number- the port number enables the Lucity Messenger pop-up window notifications. The port number will default to the recommended setting; therefore, it is not mandatory to change this configuration. Check with your system administrator to ensure that your system will allow the port communication to the GSMsnger.exe application between workstations in your network. Often times local or network firewalls will automatically disable the Lucity Messenger by default.

  Note: Email notifications are no longer configured on a per workstation basis. Use the Lucity Administration tool to configure email notifications globally.
