The Sewer Inspection modules track the condition of Sewer assets over time and are implemented with the Sewer Inventory modules.
Below is a basic overview of how Sewer Inspections relate to assets:
Each Inspection record links to one Sewer asset.
Multiple inspections can be created for each Sewer asset. However, only one inspection of a type can be created for a Sewer asset for a given day. For example, there cannot be two MACP Inspections for the same manhole on the same day.
Sewer Pipe Inspections
Each pipe can have one TV or PACP Inspection from upstream to downstream and one from downstream to upstream on the same day.
One Lamping Inspection can be recorded for a pipe's US manhole and one for the pipe's DS manhole on the same day.
Smoke test observations in a separate Smoke Test Observations module.
Building Inspections are not linked to a Sewer asset. Instead, they are linked to the Customer Address module.
Inspection observations are stored in a separate Building Observations module.
Diagram
The following diagram shows how each inspection relates to an asset.
Note: The numbers and * in the diagram represent the number of records that can be part of the indicated relationship. For example, many (*) television inspection records can be related to one (1) Pipe record.
