The Attributes tab allows you to record general information about the bus bar in the record. Several of the fields in this tab are described below:
Field Name |
Definition |
Nominal Voltage |
This field allows you to indicate the system voltage for which the bus bar is rated. Values could include 7.2 kV Grounded Y, 24.9 kV Grounded Y, 2400 Delta, etc. |
Operating Voltage |
This field allows you to indicate the standard level at which the system is currently being operated. This may be higher or lower than the nominal voltage. |
Phase Designation |
Use this field to indicate the phases present on the conductor (i.e. A, AB, AC, etc.). |
Non Traceable |
This field allows you to indicate if the bus bar is not to be included in tracing. |
Shape |
Use this text field to record the bus bar shape. The shape affects the size of the cross-sectional area as well as heating. |
Loading |
Use this field to indicate the device capacity delivered to the load area, in MVA. |
Spacing |
Use this field to indicate the distance between buses following minimum electrical clearance for various BILs. |
Trace Weight |
This field allows you to determine the bus bar status and other information that affects circuit connectivity. |
Feeder ID 1 and 2 |
Use the first field to include the feeder manager identifier assigned to the feeder and devices that participate in a specific distribution circuit. Use the second ID field if the bus bar is supplied by a second feeder. |
Feeder Info |
This field allows you to include the feeder manager assigned phase information describing the phase of the circuit. |
