Set Elevations Status Codes Defined

The Sewer Set Elevations tool sets your sewer structure elevations. Below is a list of elevation status codes and their definitions.

Status Code

Definition

F = Field Verified

Rim Elevations

A rim elevation with an "F" status exists in the Structure Inventory database.

Invert Elevations

The rim elevation has a status of "F" and line lamping of the sewer structure depths exist, which are subtracted from the rim elevation data.

R = Record Drawing Data

Rim Elevations

Elevation found on record drawing elevation.

Invert Elevations

Elevation found on record drawing elevation.

C = Calculated Record Drawing Data

Rim Elevations

Elevation equals record drawing elevation plus datum adjustments.

Invert Elevations

Elevation equals record drawing elevation plus datum adjustments.

M = Multiple Rim Elevations

Rim Elevations

A rim elevation with an "M" status (multiple rims) exists within the Structure Inventory module. This occurs because of multiple record drawing references in the Pipe file for a particular sewer structure.

Invert Elevations

This does not apply.

L = Estimated By Lamping Information

Rim Elevations

When no information regarding sewer structure elevations exists but non-field verified invert elevation data does exist and the structure depth was measured during lamping, the rim elevation is estimated by using the invert data and adding the lamping data.

Invert Elevations

When no information regarding the invert elevations exists but non-field verified structure rim elevations data does exist and the structure depth was measured during lamping, then the invert elevation is estimated by subtracting the lamping depth from the rim elevation.

D = Estimated by Manhole Depth Information

Rim Elevations

When no information regarding sewer structure elevations exists but non-field verified invert elevation data does exist and the structure depth has been measured (stored in the Structure Inspection module, not the Line Lamping Inspection module), the rim elevation is estimated by using the invert data and adding the structure depth.

Invert Elevations

When no information regarding the invert elevations exists but non-field verified manhole rim elevations data does exist and the structure depth was measured (stored in the Structure Inspection module, not the Line Lamping Inspection module), the invert elevation is estimated by subtracting the manhole depth from the rim elevation.

S = Estimated by Slope and Length of Line

Rim Elevations

This does not apply.

Invert Elevations

When there is elevation data on only one of the invert elevations, the other invert elevation is calculated using the length and slope of the line segment.

E = Estimated Elevation

Rim Elevations

If in the Structure Inventory module you have marked the elevation data as estimated, this information could be determined using a contouring program or by some other method.

Invert Elevations

Elevations estimated by using the Estimated Invert utility.

Elevation Lock

Checking this field forces the Set Elevations utility and the Estimate Invert Elevations utility to skip the record. Check this box when you have active elevations set and you don't want the elevations changed.
