The General tab is used to record basic information about your site asset. Here, you can include the asset type and sub-type code along with location information. Two lines are provided for specific address information. You can use these to indicate an asset's street location or cross street. A General Location text field is provided for additional description. X and Y coordinate fields are available for specific location documentation. You can also use the General fields to track department, owner, and maintenance information. In addition, several fields on this tab have special functions. These are described below:
