Other Settings Tab

The Other Settings tab features three grids that store information about other water features during the test: Major Service Meter Flows, Pump Flows at Time of Test, and Tank Levels at Time of Test.

A sample of each grid appears below. Sort records in a grid by clicking on the headings. An up or down arrow (highlighted in orange below) will appear signifying ascending or descending order.

This grid is to document the flow rate of the service taps associated with the tested hydrants.

Right click in the grid and select Add Record. The following window will appear:
Fill in the Account Number from the pick list.
- Click the caption button or click in the field and push F9 for a list of service taps from the Water Distribution Service Tap Inventory module.
Enter the flow rate in gallons per minute (gpm).
Save and Close the record.

Right click in the grid and select Add Record. The following screen will appear:
Fill in the Pump Number.
- Click the caption button or click in the field and press F9 for a list of pumps from the Water Distribution Pump Inventory module.
- The Station Number field will be automatically populated with the corresponding pump station.
Enter the Discharge amount in gallons per minute (gpm).
Save and Close the record.

This grid is to document the tank levels in the storage facility associated with the tested hydrants.

Right click in the grid and select Add Record. The following window will appear:
Fill in the Facility Number.
- Click on the caption button or click in the field and push F9 for a list of facilities from the Water Distribution Storage Facility Inventory module.
- The Facility Name field will be automatically populated with the name of the select facility.
Enter the Water Elevation and Operating Status.
Save and Close the record.
