At the top of the module window you will see header data. This data remains at the top of your screen as you use the tabs to navigate through the record. The header fields are described in the table below:

Structure Number |
This field allows you to associate your structure inspection record with an existing structure inventory record. To select a structure number from the pick list, click on the field caption button or press F9. |
Basin |
When the Structure Number is chosen above, this field is automatically populated by the system with the corresponding basin ID. |
Date Inspected |
This field allows you to enter the date the inspection took place. Press the space bar to populate this field with the current date (i.e. the date on your system clock) or use the drop-down menu to select a date. |
Total Structure Number |
Based on the condition of the structure components (specified in the General 2 tab), the inspection setup matrix assigns a numeric rating to each component. The sum of these ratings is the Total Structure Number. This number gives the structure an overall single rating that helps you determine which structures are in the most need of repair. The higher the structure number, the worse the condition of the structure. |
Note: The Structure Number and Date Inspected fields are required in order to save the record.
