Pole Inspection Header Data

At the top of the module window you will see header data. This data remains at the top of your screen as you use the tabs to navigate through the record. The header fields are described in the table below:

Field Name

Definition

Pole Rec No

This field allows you to link your inspection record to an existing Pole Inventory record. To access the pick list, click on the field caption button or press the F9 key.

Alt Pole ID

Pole Type

Once you have selected a Pole Record Number, the system automatically fills the corresponding alternate ID and type in these fields.

Action Date

This field allows you to record the date the inspection took place.

Action

This field allows you to record the action taken at the time of the inspection.

Gathered By

This field allows you to record which employee performed the inspection.

Note:  The Pole Record Number, Action Date, and Action fields are required to save the record.
