On the left side of the screen above, you can see the Rehabilitation Default Triggers. These settings are used by the system to determine which rehab type is appropriate for each individual street. You can use these settings to indicate whether a curb is required and what PCI will trigger selection of this rehab method.
Default Trigger |
Description |
Requires Curb |
If this box is marked, the supersegment's curb length has to be greater than zero in order for this rehab technique to be selected. |
Requires No Curb |
If this box is marked, the supersegment's curb length has to be equal to zero in order for this rehab technique to be selected. |
Min PCI |
This is the minimum PCI value that the supersegment can have in order to be selected for this rehabilitation activity. For a particular rehab type to be selected, the street's PCI must fall between the minimum and maximum PCI's defined in this module. If a street's PCI falls between the minimum PCI and Breakpoint PCI, it is considered to be in a Key Zone. A Key Zone street is one that is given a higher rehabilitation priority in the model runs. |
Breakpoint PCI |
This sets the high end of the Key Zone for this rehabilitation method. If a street's PCI falls between the minimum PCI and Breakpoint PCI, it is considered to be in a Key Zone. A Key Zone street is one that is given a higher rehabilitation priority in the model runs. |
Max PCI |
This is the maximum PCI value that the supersegment can have in order to be selected for this rehabilitation activity. For a particular rehab type to be selected, the street's PCI must fall between the minimum and maximum PCI's defined in this module. |
