Field Inspections Header Data

At the top of the module window you will see header data. This data remains at the top of your screen as you use the tabs to navigate through the record. The header fields are described in the table below:

Field Name

Definition

Field Record ID

This field is automatically populated by the system with a database generated number.

Subsegment Code

This field allows you to link your inspections record to a Subsegments record by selecting an existing Subsegment Code from the pick list. To access the pick list, click on the field caption button or use the F9 function.

Street Name

From and To Street

Start and End Station

Once you have selected the Subsegment code in the field above, the system will automatically fill the corresponding data from the Subsegments module into these fields.

Most Recent Inspection

The system will automatically mark this checkbox if it is the most recent inspection for this particular subsegment. The system will use the Inventory Date to make this determination.

Inventory Date

This field allows you to indicate the date the inspection took place.

Inspection Crew

This field allows you to indicate the name of the crew that performed the inspection.

Note: In order to save your changes to the record, the Subsegment Code and Inventory Date fields must be filled in.
