Subcontractors Tab

This tab contains a grid allowing users to record all subcontractors associated with the project.  It also stores information about how much they are charging, the contract number, and the dates they will be working on the project. There is also a note field more more information.

A sample of the grid appears below. Sort records in the grid by clicking on the headings.  An up or down arrow (highlighted in orange below) will appear signifying ascending or descending order. The functions in the grid allow user to view, add, edit, or delete the record.

How To Add New Subcontractors

  1. Right-click in the grid and select Add Record.  The Subcontractors window will appear.

  2. Click the Subcontractor button or click in the field and hit F9 . This list is pulled from the Work > Work Flow Setup > Contractors module. Note: The Contractor record must have the Project Contractor box checked.

    Note:  Subcontractor is a required field.

  3. Fill out other fields as desired.
  4. Use the text field to add additional notes.
  5. Click to save the record.
  6. Click to close the window.
