At the top of the Custom Inspection window you will see header data. This data remains at the top of your screen when you use the tabs to navigate through the record. It allows you to include unique identification information for each custom asset as well as the inspection date, time, and crew. As the inspection records are tied to inventory records, you cannot enter a General Record ID or an Alternate ID that do not already exist. You may enter these IDs by using one of the following three methods:
Once you have selected a General Record ID, the system automatically fills the corresponding Alternate ID, and vice versa. The Name field is also automatically entered upon selection of these IDs.
Note: The General Record ID, Alternate ID, and Inspection Date fields are required fields. To save your changes to the record, these fields must be filled in.
