The Equipment modules track information about pieces of equipment, inspections performed on the equipment, and readings for the equipment. Because equipment is such an important element of infrastructure management, the Equipment Inventory is integrated with multiple Lucity modules. The diagram below illustrates these relationships.
Module Relationships
A piece of equipment is assumed to have one unique location. Therefore, an Equipment asset may be linked only to a single asset.
Multiple pieces of equipment can be attached to Sewer/Storm Pump Stations and Sewer/Storm Pumps.
Equipment records can have multiple pieces of equipment attached as dependent equipment.
Multiple Fluid and Material records from Work Flow Setup can be attached to a piece of equipment.
Multiple inspections, warranties and readings can be attached to a piece of equipment.
